Eleven years ago, I lost my innocence to a complete stranger.
He had everything – dominance, thirst, power, control…
It was perfect!
That he left me scared, damaged, flawed. (And pregnant!)
I meet him today, only to discover that he’s gotten HOTTER with the years.
And that big, rugged body? That’s made for sin.
Those icy blue eyes scorch me with feelings so intense that make me want to forget my imperfect past.
Suddenly, getting lost in the mountains seems like the most beautiful thing ever.
And when we play the game of truth or dare, I choose dare.
And guess what?
He dares me not to fall for him again!
Just that he doesn’t know my deepest, darkest secret.
A secret that could destroy both of us – forever!
This book is really, really good. It is a second chance romance that is well written, flows smoothly with a consistent plot. Amazing dialogue, witty, funny and edge of your seat enjoyable. The characters Jake and Calla are amazing with hot off the charts chemistry between them. The sex scenes are panty dripping hot, so hot sparks flew everywhere causing my kindle to overheat. Amy Brent never disappoints. This book is a MUST READ!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I loved Calla and Jake story, when I started reading I couldn't put it down. They had a one night stand and parted ways after on till Calla gets in to trouble snowstorm, Jake has to go rescue Calla. OMG there chemistry is scorching HOT, ONE-CLICK NOW, Great HEA. A must read, I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy
Wow! Amy has once again written an extremely entertaining and sexy read. This story is hot, hot, hot with crazy, intense chemistry and addictive sex. Jake is an army veteran living on the mountain due to his PTSD and Calla is a fiery red head romance writer who gets lost hiking during a snow storm. The fact that they met each other years before, when Jake was enlisting and then again when he rescues Calla is a fun twist. This second-chance, mountain man romance is a well-developed story with strong characters. My only concern is the length of this book. I thought the story was a bit long, dragging in parts and I was becoming irritated with Jake running hot then cold. Despite this slight criticism I definitely recommend “Truth or Dare”.
